STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions GmbH (SISS): Gesamtanbieterin für intelligente Infrastrukturlösungen
Zusammenlegung von Center Communication Systems und STRABAG Anlagentechnik
Wien, 4.3.2016
---

STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions GmbH (SISS): a single-source provider of intelligent infrastructure solutions
Merger of Center Communication Systems GmbH and STRABAG Anlagentechnik GmbH
Vienna, 4 March 2016
---
STRABAG, the technology group for construction services, has merged its 100 % subsidiaries Center Communication Systems GmbH (CCS) and STRABAG Anlagentechnik GmbH (SAT). The new company, with the name STRABAG Infrastructure & Safety Solutions GmbH, was entered in the commercial register on 24 February 2016. Managing directors are Gerhard Jelinek and Werner Kribernegg.
“With the merger of our activities in traffic safety technology, tunnel equipment and communications technology, we are making better use of the strong synergies that exist between these two business fields. As a provider of complete solutions for intelligent infrastructure, we are in a position to offer an extensive range of services from a single source – from train radio, video surveillance and passenger information systems to answering point technology to traffic and tunnel technology,” the two directors say.
Both companies well-established on the market
Center Communication Systems GmbH, headquartered in Vienna and with branch offices in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Benelux, developed communications systems and safety technology for emergency and rescue services, public transport, public safety and industry to protect people and valuables. This includes wireless transmission systems for tunnels and buildings as well as railway communications systems and public safety answering point technology for emergency and rescue services. CCS is currently working on the expansion and modernisation of the tunnel transmitter system for the Vienna underground.
STRABAG Anlagentechnik GmbH was awarded the contract last summer to modernise the electrical and mechanical equipment for the Oswaldiberg Tunnel on the A10 motorway in Austria. The company, as general contractor, delivered end-to-end solutions in the fields of tunnel equipment and transport technology and is a leader on the European market.
