Vienna, 25 September 2008 The Annual Report 2007 of STRABAG SE was awarded twice at the ARC Awards in New York. STRABAG achieved Gold in the category “Overall Annual Report: Construction & Building” as well as Silver in the category “Printing & Production: Construction & Building”. In addition, STRABAG was nominated for the best Austrian Annual Report 2007.
The ARC Awards are regarded as the “Oscars of Annual Reports” and are the largest competition concerning the evaluation of Annual Reports. Every year an international jury selects the best Annual Reports. This year there were over 2,100 submissions.
“We are glad to obtain two awards for the first Annual Report since our company went public. This is a sign that we are on the right track with our Investor Relations activities,” says Christian Ebner, Secretary General of STRABAG SE. “I want to invite all investors to continue informing us actively about their suggestions and ideas for improvement. In the end, they are the most frequent users of the Annual Report.”
