Als Teil eines Konsortiums hat die STRABAG s.r.o, die slowakische Tochtergesellschaft des börsennotierten Baukonzerns STRABAG SE, den Vertrag zur Errichtung eines Teilstücks der Autobahn D1 im Norden der Slowakei unterzeichnet. Der Auftragswert beläuft sich auf € 427 Mio., wovon auf STRABAG ein Anteil von rund € 140 Mio. entfällt. Die Länge des Autobahnabschnittes zwischen Hricovské Podhradie–Lietavská Lúcka beträgt circa 11 km. Die Bauarbeiten umfassen elf Brücken, zwei Tunnels sowie sämtliche Zufahrtsstraßen.
„Nach der Schnellstraße R2 ist dies bereits unser zweiter großer Infrastrukturauftrag in der Slowakei innerhalb weniger Wochen. Die Slowakei zeigt, dass sie die Investitionen in die Infrastruktur vorantreibt“, so Thomas Birtel, Vorstandsvorsitzender der STRABAG SE.
Die Autobahn D1 ist ein Teil der internationalen Verkehrsroute E-50, die von Paris über Nürnberg und Prag durch die Ukraine bis nach Russland führen soll. Das Konsortium setzt sich aus vier Partnerfirmen zusammen: Doprastav 32 %, Váhostav 32 %, STRABAG 32 % und Metrostav 4 %. Die Bauarbeiten sollen 48 Monate dauern.

As part of a consortium, STRABAG s.r.o., the Slovak subsidiary of the publicly listed construction group STRABAG SE, has signed the contract to build a section of the D1 motorway in northern Slovakia. The order has a total value of € 427 million, with STRABAG’s share amounting to about € 140 million. The length of the motorway section between Hrièovské Podhradie and Lietavská Lúèka amounts to approximately 11 km. The construction works comprise eleven bridges, two tunnels as well as all access roads.
“After the R2 expressway, this is already our second large infrastructure order in Slovakia within the past few weeks. Slovakia is showing that it is pressing ahead with investments in infrastructure,” says Thomas Birtel, CEO of STRABAG SE.
The D1 motorway is part of the E 50 international transport route leading from Paris via Nuremberg and Prague through Ukraine to Russia. The consortium is composed of four partner companies: Doprastav (32 %), Váhostav (32 %), STRABAG (32 %) and Metrostav (4 %). The construction period will take 48 months.
