Am 12.9.2013 hat ein Konsortium geleitet von der STRABAG AG, einer Tochter des europäischen Baukonzerns STRABAG SE, den Vertrag zur Errichtung des Abschnittes Svilaj-Odzak des internationalen Autobahnkorridors 5c in Bosnien unterzeichnet. Die Arbeiten am 10,4 km langen Teilstück beinhalten die Errichtung der Fahrbahnen, des Grenzüberganges Svilaj, der Mautstelle Svilaj sowie zweier Raststätten und zweier Autobahnabfahrten. Das Auftragsvolumen beträgt rund € 84 Mio.
Die Bauarbeiten werden im Oktober 2013 beginnen und voraussichtlich 14 Monate dauern. Im Dezember 2014 soll die Autobahn für den Verkehr geöffnet werden. An dem Konsortium hält STRABAG AG 50 %, der Partner Euro-Asfalt 49 % und ZGP 1 %. Die Bauarbeiten werden von der STRABAG d.o.o., Sarajevo, ausgeführt.

On 12 September 2013, a consortium led by STRABAG AG, a subsidiary of European construction group STRABAG SE, signed the contract to build the Svilaj-Odžak section of the international motorway corridor 5c in Bosnia. Work on the 10.4 km long section includes the construction of the roadway, the border crossing at Svilaj, the Svilaj toll station, two service areas and two motorway exits. The contract value amounts to about € 84 million.
Construction will begin in October 2013 and is projected to last 14 months. The motorway is to be opened to traffic in December 2014. The building consortium is held jointly by STRABAG AG (50 %), by its partner Euro-Asfalt (49 %) and by ZGP (1 %). Work will be carried out by STRABAG d.o.o., Sarajevo.
