Der börsenotierte Baukonzern STRABAG SE hat für seinen Bereich Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) die DIW Instandhaltung Ltd. & Co. KG (Stuttgart), eine 100 %-Tochter der Voith GmbH, erworben. Das Closing der Transaktion fand heute, Dienstag, statt. Damit baut STRABAG PFS ihr Dienstleistungsspektrum um die Industriereinigung und ihre Position als zweitgrößtes Facility Service-Unternehmen in Deutschland mit einem prognostizierten Umsatz von etwa € 1 Mrd. aus. Der Kaufpreis liegt im zweistelligen Millionen-Euro-Bereich.
Bei DIW erbringen rund 6.000 Beschäftigte einen Umsatz von ca. € 175 Mio. pro Jahr. Davon entfallen 75 % auf Deutschland, wo das Unternehmen bundesweit präsent ist, und 25 % auf seine neun Standorte in Österreich. Zu den Leistungen zählen insbesondere die technische Industriereinigung sowie das infrastrukturelle und technische Facility Management für Industrieunternehmen.

STRABAG PFS expands its service portfolio in facility management for industrial clients
STRABAG PFS: second-largest facility services company in Germany; forecast revenue of € 1 billion
Stuttgart, 30 September 2014 The publicly listed construction group STRABAG SE has acquired DIW Instandhaltung Ltd. & Co. KG of Stuttgart, a 100 % subsidiary of Voith GmbH, for integration into its property and facility services division STRABAG PFS. The closing of the transaction took place today, Tuesday. With the acquisition, STRABAG PFS expands its service portfolio to include industrial cleaning and consolidates its position as the second-largest facility services company in Germany with forecast revenue of around € 1 billion. The purchase price lies in the double-digit million euro range.
DIW’s approximately 6,000 employees generate revenue of about € 175 million a year. Of this amount, 75 % is generated in Germany, where the company has a nationwide presence, and 25 % at its nine locations in Austria. The company’s services primarily cover technical industrial cleaning as well as infrastructural and technical facility management for industrial companies.
