STRABAG Latvia

The STRABAG Group also has a presence on the Latvian construction market: with its investment in SIA Šlokenbeka in 1999, STRABAG acquired an interest in a transportation infrastructures construction company that is rich in history and tradition which has been operating on the Latvian road construction market since 1949.

Following continued growth of the portfolio of services, the activities today range from road construction and special engineering to the construction of sports and recreational facilities to environmental technology. The Latvian company also possesses two proprietary asphalt mixing facilities as well as a road construction laboratory. SIA Šlokenbeka changed its name to STRABAG SIA in 2012. Since 17.10.2016 SIA Šlokenbeka is a 100% subsidiary of STRABAG AG (Germany).
