STRABAG is dedicated to providing full construction services to our clients and is a leader in innovation and construction capability. We have been working in the UK market since 2011 and cover all areas of the construction industry. In doing so, we create added value for our clients by integrating a wide variety of specialist skills and services, helping to deliver complex infrastructure and ground engineering projects.

We are one of the few companies that can offer services along the entire construction journey from design, through planning and construction, to commissioning and operations.

Our aim in the UK is to target major infrastructure development schemes and in July 2017 we successfully secured our first major project in a joint venture. The award was for the HS2 Main Works Civils Contract to design and construct 48 km of tunnels including the Euston Tunnels & Approaches and the Northolt Tunnels.

Soon after in 2018, STRABAG signed its first tunnelling project as single contractor in North Yorkshire for an industrial mining client, providing 37 km of mineral transfer tunnels and associated infrastructure.

STRABAG continues to actively explore further tunnelling, ground engineering and infrastructure development opportunities in the UK market, to build upon the foundation of our current projects and our unrivalled tunnelling reputation.
